How to you download pictures from Kodak Easyshare Camera onto a Windows Vista?

I use a Kodak EasyShare M893. I have my camera plugged in and I already downloaded the software, but nothing is happening. My camera is connected (It says it is). But I don’t know how to download pictures off of it onto my computer (Windows Vista) and obviously it’s not doing it automatically. What do I need to do?

You are waiting for the camera or computer to do everything for you?
Use “My Computer” and open it. You will see your hard drives, CD/DVD burner and the camera as a removable drive. Just copy the images on your memory card to your computer using your computer skills.
You can also turn on the “auto-play” feature on your computer.
okay when it is plugged in go to my computer
then turn the camera on while it is still connected
a camera icon will pop up.
click it import pictures and voila
try this:
1. Launch the software
2. connect the camera
3. turn it on
Note: A transfer window will appear. If not, right click on the Kodak logo in the system tray then select transfer now.
4. Or click on Add button on the Kodak software, then select the camera.
